Kiama, Kiama Downs & Kiama Heights
For ocean lovers
Every part of Kiama, including Kiama Heights and Kiama Downs, has several local beaches to choose from, whether you like to surf, snorkel or paddle in rippling waters. The exclusive, residential area of Minnamurra is popular for its proximity to the river and Kiama Golf Course — the best all-weather course in the Illawarra.
Lifestyle
A beautiful seaside town on the South Coast, which is famous for its blowholes, Kiama’s age demographic is dropping as a growing number of families and young professionals choose to buy there and either work remotely or commute to Sydney and Wollongong. The area has no shortage of beaches, plenty of history and some of the State’s most scenic ocean pools.
Getting around
On a weekday, you will spot professionals making their way to Sydney and Wollongong from one of Kiama’s local train stations, including Bombo train station, which is situated right on the edge of Bombo beach — a beautiful view to begin your day. The drive from Sydney takes around 1 hour 45 minutes and Nowra CBD is less than an hour away.
