The best of both worlds.
For a small village, Jamberoo has no shortage of adventures and activities, thanks to Budderoo National Park, with trails for all ages and abilities, starting at the newly renovated Minnamurra Rainforest Centre. Jamberoo is also rich with history, with 19th century buildings, which are today home to boutiques and cafes. A short drive takes you to Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa and onto Berry, with all their amenities.
The rural village of Jamberoo offers the best of both worlds, with green pastures and native forests, only 10 minutes from beautiful coastlines and sandy beaches. This is a place where you can live on a farm and still go for a surf every morning. Jamberoo also has a great community spirit, thanks to its local school, preschool and popular sports grounds.
Follow the scenic Grand Pacific Drive south from Sydney, and in less than two hours you’ll be in Jamberoo. Once you pass through Wollongong, the onward drive is around 30min, while from Kiama, the route northwest takes about 10min. From Kiama, you can also catch a train to Sydney or Wollongong.
